WATCH: After Katrina Kaif expresses desire to work with Vicky Kaushal, he proposes her in front of Salman Khan

Vicky Kaushal has become THE name after he played Kamli in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, which was also one of the highest grosser of 2018. The actor reached great heights thereafter, not having to look back post bagging Karan Johar’s directorial Takht and carrying the upcoming movie Uri on his shoulders all alone.

Even though he worked with Ranbir Kapoor, or probably because he worked with him, Katrina Kaif in an interview mentioned that she would like to work with Vicky in a film.

Much to our surprise, just a few days later, Vicky went on stage and proposed the actress, right in front of Salman Khan, whom she reportedly shares a history with, on his song ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’. On hearing this, Katrina kept on grinning while Salman fake nodded off on his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s shoulders, looking tired to hear the same thing again and then laughed and clapped.

In reality, it was Vicky just lip-syncing Kapil Sharma, but Katrina did end up answering his question, saying ‘Himmat nahi hai’.

Kapil also got married to his fiancé Ginni Chathrath in 2018, right after Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding in December.

Katrina Kaif was reported to be in a serious relationship with Salman Khan for a long time, post which she left him for Ranbir Kapoor. Katrina and Ranbir even moved in together but they eventually parted ways. Ranbir is currently dating Katrina's once-BFF Alia Bhatt and they came back from their New York vacation where Alia caught up with Ranbir’s family in his presence during the eve of New Year.
