Wait, what? Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja won't have wedding cards, here's why

The cat is finally out of the bag and it's no big secret anymore that B-town's very own fashionista Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her Delhi-based businessman boyfriend Anand Ahuja in May this year. The Veere Di Wedding actress neither confirmed not denied the speculations about her wedding at the trailer launch of the film, but said that all will be revealed in "good time". Earlier, Farah Khan had already revealed that she'll be choreographing Sonam's sangeet function. Now, while the prep for the big fat wedding is going on in full swing, recent reports suggest that there won't be any wedding invitation cards for Sonam and Anand's wedding. 

Why is that you ask? Well turns out that Sonam and Anand's families have decided to send across e-invitations for the wedding. A report on BollywoodLife quoted a source as saying, "Both Sonam and Anand believe in paper conservation. They believe that wedding cards mean a lot of waste of paper. Hence they have asked their families to not print any invitation cards. Instead, they have designed an elegant e-invite together which will be sent to their friends and relatives on their phones.” 

Now that indeed is a thoughtful gesture by the couple. Both Sonam and Anand have been sharing pictures with each other on social media, giving us all major couple goals. Finally, they're reportedly set to get hitched in Mumbai in a two day ceremony in May. Watch this space...
