Filmmaker JP Dutta and former actor Bindiya Goswami's daughter Nidhi Dutta got engaged to beau Binoy Gandhi on Saturday. The function was a close-knit ceremony and only the near and dear ones of the couple marked their presence. Now we came across a couple of photos from the function attended by none other than Abhishek Bachchan. The Breathe: Into The Shadows actor is very close to the Dutta family as JP launched him into the films two decades back with Refugee.
In the photos from the engagement ceremony, Abhishek donned a handsome look wearing a golden sherwani and white pyjamas. He teamed it up with his trademark wired headband. Abhishek posed with Nidhi and Binoy. In another photo, he was all smiling while posing with Nidhi, whom he considers his sister.

Earlier talking about the impending wedding, Niddhi stated, "Everything was decided around Holi in March, right before the lockdown. As of now, the wedding is scheduled for December, but we will take it as it comes."
While JP had told IANS, "Bindiya (his wife) and I are absolutely delighted to announce the engagement of our daughter Nidhi with Binoy. The kids have known each other for many years and are about to be betrothed. It's a feeling very personal and something we cannot put into words."
Nidhi also shared a photo from her engagement flaunting her ring. She wrote, "‘Forever’ has a nice ring to it.... #engaged @binoygandhi369".
