Vidyut Jammwal keeps mentor Vipul Shah's 'Commando 3' on hold?

While it is usually expected that everything would be hunky-dory between a mentor and his protégé, we hear that’s not the case with Vipul Shah and Vidyut Jammwal. The filmmaker, who launched the actor as a hero in Commando (2013), after his negative role in Force (2011), also produced by him, is said to be making another action flick with him.

Undeterred by Commando 2 not faring as well as they anticipated, they were planning the third installment. The script has been finalised and Vipul was looking to start its production later this year. We hear that Vidyut has now said to have committed to Mahesh Manjrekar’s next Hindi directorial, which is reportedly starting before his mentor’s production. Says our source, “With this development, Commando 3 is reportedly being pushed to next year in the actor’s date diary. Naturally, Vipul is upset that Vidyut, whom he gave a break in Bollywood is giving priority to another filmmaker’s project over his production.”
