The makers of Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi have released a new song dedicated to the loving bond of a father with his daughter. Titled Dilbaro, the almost 2-minute track features the marriage of Alia's character to her onscreen husband, Vicky Kaushal. It further explores the love shared by the father-daughter duo as Alia breaks down while her 'vidaai'.

The setting of the song is that of Sehmat's (Alia) wedding where she has to cross the dehleez and comfort of her home and not just go to her husband's house, but also to another country. The lyrics by Gulzar leave goosebumps several junctures in the song. 

Coincidentally, the song also features Alia's real mother, Soni Razdan. The song is penned by Gulzar and composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Dilbaro has been sung by Harshdeep Kaur, Vibha Saraf and Shankar Mahadevan.

The 'Highway' star portrays the character of Sehmat - a Kashmiri girl who gets married to a Pakistani army officer, essayed by Kaushal.

Helmed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the spy-romantic flick is based on 'Calling Sehmat', a best-selling book by Harinder Sikka. The film is set to hit the theatres on May 11.
