Vicky Kaushal's latest film 'URI: The Surgical Strike', which released on January 11 and has been enjoying a golden run at the box office, has been leaked online by TamilRockers (a piracy website), despite the makers best efforts to prevent piracy. The website is notorious for leaking popular films and has several complaints filed in its name.

The news has come as a huge shocker since team 'URI' had adopted a creative method to curb privacy, and it was widely lauded on social media for it. A 3.8 gb file was uploaded on the website by the makers of the film to detract the pirators. In the video, Yami Gautam could be heard saying, "Jab hamari army unki territory me ghuskar aatankvaadio ko maar sakti hai, to kya hum aapke torrent me nahi ghus sakte?" Vicky added, "Picture dekhiye garv se. Theatre me jaakar. Then Yami says, Chori chhipe, illegal download karke nahi."

But, it's unfortunate that despite taking such preventive measures the film has still fallen prey to piracy.

Uri: The Surgical Strike, featuring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Kirti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal in key roles, is based on the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army on seven terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control on September 29, 2016, in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month.
