Varun Dhawan calls Joe Biden 'hamare naye dost' in his 'Coolie No 1' look

Earlier this year when Donald Trump visited India, Varun Dhawan had posted a hilarious video on his Instagram page. In the video, he was seen calling Trump as his childhood friend. Now, as Joe Biden has been declared as the US President-elect, Varun in his Coolie No 1 avatar called him as his 'naye dost'. The actor took to his Instagram page and shared a few photos suited up in US National flag printed outfit.

Varun captioned his post stating, "KUNWAR- BIDEN 2020. Hamare naye dost @joebiden congratulation #presidentno1 #kunwarsaab #coolieno1 coming soon."

In the earlier video, Varun had joked that Donald Trump's favourite food is 'Pav Bhaji from Shiv Sagar restaurant'. He has been talking about US Presidents in his character from Coolie No 1 named Kunwar Mahinder Pratab.

Talking about Coolie No 1, the film is directed by David Dhawan and stars Sara Ali Khan as the female lead. The film also has Johnny Lever, Javed Jaaferi and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

Coolie No 1 promotions were kickstarted a few days back wherein the actors visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. The film is skipping theatrical release and will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from Christmas weekend this year.

This is Varun's third outing with dad David Dhawan after Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2. We will VD and Sara romancing for the first time and their chemistry from the photos is palpable and loved by fans.
