Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are one of the most loved on-screen jodis. Their on and off-screen chemistry has got all fans excited. Their fan clubs, who call themselves Varia and Valia, now have much more in store since the two much-loved actors are on a promotional spree for their upcoming movie 'Kalank'.
Abhishek Varman's 'Kalank', which features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's love story, among Sonakshi Sinha-Aditya Roy Kapur's marriage and Madhuri Dixit Nene-Sanjay Dutt's mysterious relationship, has been making the right kind of noise ever since the teaser and trailer of the film was unveiled. In fact the makers are all set to release their film in the next week, i.e. on April 17. For the uninitiated, 'Kalank' was Yash Johar (producer Karan Johar's father)'s dream since a long time. The movie took 15 years to come into execution.
In order to promote their film, Varun and Alia visited Jalandhar and had a blast there. The actors walked hand-in-hand while promoting their film at a University, Varun Dhawan went down on his knees for his on-screen ladylove and even picked her up. Apart from that, the two actors indulged in an impromptu bhangra session.

Post 'Kalank' promotions, Varun Dhawan would begin shooting for his father David Dhawan's 'Coolie No. 1' adaptation with Sara Ali Khan. Meanwhile Alia Bhatt has already been switching between 'Brahmastra' shooting (with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan) and 'Kalank' promotions. She will also appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Inshallah' (with Salman Khan), Karan Johar's 'Takht' (which also features Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor) and SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' (opposite Ram Charan) soon.
