According to a Mid-Day report, the multi talented actress is planning a satirical comedy set in the year 2025. The film which deals with the repercussions of growing population. Richa didn't take much time to confess that it won't have been a smooth ride in the absence of Ali Fazal. She told Mumbai daily, "It is always exciting to work with him because he is a fabulous actor. We managed to wrap up three days' worth of work in one. That is testimony of his dedication."
Ali also took posted a picture from the sets of the film and captioned, "So i was directed by the Maestro herself @therichachadha and made up by @athenaofthegods so you can see the madness there.. rest will follow.. no more details from me. I like the white beard happening."
Giving details about her directorial debut, Miss Chadha also revealed that she has also written the script for the same. She said, "I have always wanted to explore satire. I am glad my friends trusted me and came on board on such a short notice. I look forward to casting more deserving actors in unconventional parts." The film also stars Aadar Malik and Satyajeet Dubey in the lead. Apart from the two lovers, Richa-Ali, the film also has another Fukrey connection as her co-star and friend Vishakha Singh has stepped in as producer as well.
The love story of Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha came out in open when Ali decided to travel with Richa for every award function he will attend for his film Victoria and Abdul. Earlier in an interview to DNA After Hrs, Ali said, “I’m happy to have Richa by my side at such times. She was there for the world premiere and in LA, too, which was really special and now to have her again would be exciting and important for me."
