Vicky Kaushal starrer URI-The Surgical Strike refuses to slow down at the box office as it mints Rs 3.40 crore on its 3rd Monday at th ticket windows. The film has crossed the Rs 160 crore mark. After raking in Rs 3.40 crore on the third Monday the total box office collections of the film now stand at Rs 160.78 crore. 

The film refuses to slow down at the box office even after the release of Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Thackrey. The movie had entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in just 10 days of its release. Recently, Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam celebrated India's 70th Republic Day at the Wagah border

Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike has become the first blockbuster film of 2019. The movie has taken the box office by storm and set new benchmarks for other films. Touted to be the first content film of the year, Uri: The Surgical Strike has been winning hearts. It has now become tax free in Uttar Pradesh

The movie is receiving immense appreciation from all quarters - from the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi, the men in the uniform, audiences and the members of B-Town as well. Uri: The Surgical Strike is based on the surgical strikes which were carried out by the Indian army in 2016.

Besides Vicky Kaushal, the film also features Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and debutante Mohit Raina. The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar and it has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
