Uddhav Thackeray has spoken up on actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death after nearly six months. The CM of Maharashtra, who is leading his political party - Shiv Sena - has spoken about Sushant's death and stated that some people are playing dirty politics over it.

He shared his viewpoints in Sena's editorial called Saamna. For the uninformed, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut is the editor of the newspaper.

Thackeray was asked about three topics which rocked the nation - one being young actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The editorial stated that even Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) got involved in Sushant's death case, but soon after Bihar elections (Sushant's birthplace), the matter was forgotten.

When asked about his viewpoint on the same, Thackeray shared, "What can I say, I sympathize with the tragedy. The people who are trying to gain something from someone's death are not worthy of being in politics. A young man unfortunately lost his life."

He added, "Do you want to play politics on that man's death? How much more can you fall down? These politics are the worst of its kind."

Thackeray then questioned, "If you want to be called a man, then fight like one. Unfortunately a man lost his life and all you think about is playing politics soon after? Are you trying to earn two minutes of fame over a dead man? Is this what your true nature is?"

Bihar Police got involved in investigating Sushant's death case after the actor's father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rajput's ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. On Bihar Government's request to the court, CBI came into action and interrogated Sushant's death case.

Rhea was taken under NCB custody for her alleged involvement in drugs in the case. She is now out on bail.

On the other hand, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, who was vocal during the case, had constantly taken digs on the Maharashtra Government and Mumbai Police. She had alleged that powerful people were involved in the case and it was the movie mafia, well connected to the Police and Government, that brought an end to the actor's life.
