Trolls call out Payal Ghosh for #MeToo against Anurag Kashyap after being linked to Jr NTR

Payal Ghosh, who had alleged #MeToo against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, has now shared a screenshot claiming that she has become a target of trolls. One such screenshot saw the mention of Jr. NTR. It linked the actress to the Telugu actor.

"#AnuragKashyap tried to rape me and asked why the fuck are you doing... you are f*cked by @tarak999... everyone knows about it in Tollywood," read the trolls' tweet, shared by Payal. The comments also saw one user laughing over the tweet, probably in support.

In her latest tweet, Ghosh lashed out at South Indian film industry actresses as well. "Some actresses who talk bad about south industry and now they feel safe with someone like Mr.kashyap. Because of such women, people in bollywood conceive South Indian actresses in a different way. #shame #metoo," she shared.

Payal had lodged an FIR against Anurag on September 22, 2020, while he was summoned to appear on October 1. She had recently even met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari to discuss the matter.

Earlier while talking to ANI, Payal had accused Anurag of sexual misconduct. She had said, "Five years ago I met Anurag Kashyap regarding work. He called me to his house. When I went there, he took me to a separate room and tried to sexually assault me. He forced himself on me. I request the authorities to kindly take action and let the country see the demon behind this creative guy. I am aware that it can harm me and my security is at risk. I am seeking action against him."
