Tom Alter to be seen on the big screen

There is a fantastic film called San 1975 and another called Promise Dad, which should also release sometime soon

The last time we spoke to Tom Alter was in March, when the prolific actor was putting up his theatre festival Jashn-e-Maazi. And while the actor, who recently passed away, loved theatre, he was acting in a number of films as well.

“I’ve been shooting for Hindi films non-stop,” he had told us then. “At the moment, there are some 19 films of mine which are yet to release. I can’t recall all their names, but some of them include Cheekha, a film I have produced as well, a film called Alex Hindustani, in which my son plays the lead role. There is a fantastic film called San 1975 and another called Promise Dad, which should also release sometime soon,” he said. He was also readying to make his debut as a director with a film adaptation of his novel Rerun at Rialto.
