Even though Padmavati is still waiting to get clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Tiger Zinda Hai (TZH) will not miss its release date.

The examining committee of the CBFC has issued a UA certificate to the espionage thriller with two audio cuts and a visual cut.

A source says, “A scene where a nurse is being kicked, and two audio cuts, which had abuses, have been deleted.” However, when contacted, a spokesperson from Yash Raj Films refused to comment.

The shooting of TZH was completed a month-and-a-half ago following which, the makers had applied for the film’s certification. The cast of TZH has already started promoting the film on various GECs. It is learnt that Padmavati may release only after the Gujarat elections.
