After constantly staring at the clock, while glaring at each ticking second and waiting for Yash Raj Films most expensive (touted to be) project, Thugs Of Hindostan trailer is finally out!

Yes, the makers of the film, launched the trailer of the film during an event in Mumbai.

The trailer release date also marks the birth anniversary of Yash Raj Films founder, Yash Chopra.

Aamir Khan and Yash Raj Film's official Twitter handle shared the news.

Aamir Khan, while announcing the launch of the trailer wrote, "Here come the Thugs! Its a big day for all of us. Missing Yash ji. Wish he was here with us. I hope that TOH will make your Diwali a fun and enjoyable ride! #ThugsOfHindostanTrailer"

Yash Raj Films shared the link of the trailer and wrote, "Action. Adventure. Drama. Get ready to watch it all on the big screen! #ThugsOfHindostanTrailer OUT NOW"

The three-minute 33 seconds long trailer is a cinematic wonder! Even though we wouldn't vouch for the film to be brilliant, we are sure that the film is going to be a great visual treat.

The film is set in the year 1975, and the trailer opens with an intense scene; The East India Company, which arrived in India with the primary purpose to trade, is now ruling the country.

What we make out from the trailer is that Amitabh Bachchan as Azaad (earlier introduced as Khudabaksh in the motion poster), is a devoted Hindustani (Indian), and is determined to liberate his country from the rule of the whites.

Fatima Sana Shaikh’s Zafira, an outstanding archer, is on Azaad's side and wants to defeat the British too.

However, the twist in the tale comes when the British rope in the greatest thug- Aamir Khan’s Firangi to beat Azaad and his team.

Firangi cahoots with the British, and infiltrates Azaad's army. Lloyd Owen’s John Clive plays the evil British officer. Aamir Khan’s faintly Awadhi dialect and humour is a good, required shift in between intense scenes.

Katrina Kaif too infuses magic as Suraiyya Jaan, by bringin in some glamour in thefilm. However, it is difficult to decipher what part she plays in the film.

Overall a good attempt at bringing two films together in a bowl- Mangal Pandey and Pirates of the Caribbean. The visuals and background score will definitely remind you of these two films!

The trailer has some terrific action sequences, but mediocre CGI.
