Salman Khan is one of those celebs from the B-Town, who have been very close to both Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. In fact, the actor even made it a point to visit the residence of the legendary actress soon after her mortal remains were brought back to the country from Dubai.
We came across this old video of Salman Khan's show Dus Ka Dum in which Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were the special guests. During the course of the show, Boney Kapoor can be seen talking about how he proposed to the legendary actress and what all her had to do before doing so.
Boney shared that he was head-over-heels in love with Sridevi and it took him quite a few years before he could muster the courage to pop the question to her. He said that he was passionately in love with her for 10 years. He also shared that before professing his love to her, he lost about 20 to 22 kgs of weight and all the weight that he has gained post that, has been because of the love of his wife. All this while, Sridevi can be seen blushing and laughing at Boney's narration.
Post that, Salman added that having two kids would also have ensured the he put on more weight. Hearing this, the producer hugged Salman and both of them couldn't help but laugh out loud. Salman also revealed that Sridevi is pretty good at painting. Sridevi also revealed that she had taken tips from Salman for painting.

Sridevi's sudden demise came as a major shock to the entire country.She left for heavenly abode on February 24, in Dubai where she had gone to attend a family wedding. The actress died due to 'accidental drowning' in her hotel bathtub following loss of consciousness.
The entire nation bid adieu to its first female superstar on February 28. Sridevi was given the state honour and then cremated at Vile Parle Seva Samaj crematorium.
