This is when 'Aksar 2' makers will unveil their first song 'Aaj Zid'

The makers of Aksar 2 are all set to launch the first song, Aaj Zid, from the film, tomorrow. A sensuous number, it is sung by Arijit Singh and filmed on the lead actors Gautam Rode and Zarine Khan.

The song was shot on a specially erected set of a resort. Says director Ananth Mahadevan, “The song showcases some tantalising moments in the film. The audience will be on tenterhooks about what is going to happen. It is a troublesome moment leading to something that will happen to Zarine’s character in the film.”

The filmmaker adds that track composed by Mithoon is in the league of the yesteryear Rafi song, Tumse Kahoo Ek Baat, picturised on Sanjeev Kumar and Rehana Sultan in Dastak.

“It has that kind of mood and sensuousness to the song. It is a haunting melody,” says Ananth.
