Rana Daggubati made our Happy New Year even more happier with the first look of his film, 'Haathi Mere Saathi.' His new rugged look and an elephant in the backdrop hints at another adventure coming our way post Baahubali.
But the film is yet to find a leading lady. Yes, in midst of social media buzzing over the interesting first look of the film, makers search for a heroine is on. Deccan Chronicle report suggests that the leading lady in Mukkabaaz, Zoya Hussain is a strong contendor for the part. She got noticed for her mute character inspite of the film being about the boxer Vineet Kumar Singh. The newsdaily quoted source suggesting the makers haven’t signed anyone right now, but they’re keen on having Zoya on board. It’s not a typical character, so the makers are taking their time to decide on the leading lady."

Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati has not shared the first look of Haathi Mere Saathi but has already started prepping for the film. He has given up on his beefed up avatar for Baahubali and has become 15 kilos down.
'Haathi Mere Saathi' will be a Hindi-Telugu-Tamil trilingual franchise and is scheduled to hit screens around Diwali.
