Team 'Badhaai Ho' hosts a unique baby shower

The team of Badhaai Ho hosted a unique baby shower with over 50 expectant mothers over an evening of music, games and loads of fun. Ayushman Khurrana, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao play the Kaushiks in director-producer Amit Ravindernath Sharma's film. The movie tells the story of a family coming together as they receive an unconventional good news. Talking about his journey during on the movie, Amit says, “Being in love cannot and should not be defined by age. And it's absolutely fine if two individuals who happen to be husband and wife by law, are in love (with each other) even at the age of 50 and decide to become parents.”

Upbeat with the response garnered by the trailer and the songs, co-producer Priti Shahani, enthuses, “We are very proud of this film and it’s very gratifying that the trailer has received so much love from the audience across all age groups. Our extremely talented cast has given our story and characters more colour and life than expected. We are looking forward to releasing our film to the audience.”

Badhaai Ho, presented by Junglee Pictures in association with Chrome Pictures and produced by Vineet Jain, Aleya Sen, Hemant Bhandari and Amit Ravindernath Sharma, releases on October 19.
