Rashami Desai and Adhvik Mahajan's short film is finally out. Titled Tamas, the film has been shot on an iPhone and the lead actors don't actually meet during the shoot of the film. They are seen interacting with each other without meeting and through a wall. The interesting part of the film is lockdown as a backdrop and other important social messages which are ongoing topics in the country.

The short film starts with Adhvik watching the news about the three-week lockdown announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He talks to his parents who are going to meet a suitor for him. However, he has already got engaged to his girlfriend without his parents' knowledge. This news about his parents meeting a girl leads to a fight between them and they break up.

He plans to jump off from the house and a female voice suddenly stops him. That's Rashami who is stuck at home with her baby due to the lockdown. She asks for his help during the emergency to which he agrees.

Then the story unfolds on how they create a bond without meeting each other until the end. Yes, they finally meet and that's indeed a surprise one not only for Adhvik but viewers too.

Check out the short film below:

The makers described the premise of Tamas as "During these testing times we have faced isolation, loneliness and even desperation. But life always finds a way. Relationships can develop in the unlikeliest of places. This is a story of one such relationship."
