Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta expresses gratitude to fans for remembering SSR on Diwali

The late actor's niece Mallika Singh also took to Instagram recently on his five-month death anniversary and shared a heartbreaking post about her uncle.

It has been five months since Sushant Singh Rajput left us for his heavenly abode, however, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti never forgets to keep him in her prayers and she did the same during Diwali. 

Shweta shared a video of how fans paid tributes to Sushant during the festival of Diwali. 

The video, posted on Twitter, shows how fans made rangoli designs dedicated to Sushant and prayed for him. One rangoli showed him and his former manager Disha Salian, who died a week before him in June. 

Shweta captioned her psot saying, "Yeh Diwali Sushant wali...\definitely it was. I want to thank everyone who celebrated Diwali keeping Bhai in their Prayers and hearts. #Diwali4SSR #YehDiwaliSushantWali You guys are our family. Every step of the way we feel your support and love. Thank you."

Sushant died on June 14 at his Bandra residence. The late actor's niece Mallika Singh also took to Instagram recently on his five-month death anniversary and shared a heartbreaking post about her uncle, while also pointing out it is now five months since the actor's untimely demise.

In the photo, Sushant and Mallika were twinning in black. He gave her a back hug as they posed for the camera. Sharing the image as her Instagram story, Mallika wrote, "God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart. 5 Months."

On hearing about the actor's demise in June, Mallika had posted a childhood photo of her with her 'Gulshan Mama' aka Sushant. Posting the pictures, she wrote, "I love you so, so much, my Gulshan mama. I will miss you immensely."

After a months-long investigation in Sushant's case, AIIMS had concluded that the actor died by suicide. Dr Sudhir Gupta, who was leading the panel, told ANI, “There were no injuries over the body other than hanging. There were no marks of struggle/scuffle in the body and clothes of the deceased.”
