Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been called for interrogation at Bandra Police with regards to Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. The filmmaker arrived to the Police station on Monday afternoon wearing a mask.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is believed to have been questioned on the two movies that he wanted to sign Sushant Singh Rajput for, but reportedly could not due to the actor's contract with Yash Raj Films (YRF). The movie were - 'Goliyon Ki Ras Leela: Ram-Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani'.

After Sushant could not do both the movies, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were roped in for the two blockbuster films, which released in 2013 and 2015 respectively. For the uninitiated, Sushant had made his debut in 2013 with 'Kai Po Che' and his second film 'Shuddh Desi Romance', produced by YRF, released in the same year.

It is being reported that Bhansali was also questioned whether Sushant was under any pressure by YRF because of his contract with the production house. Representing YRF, casting director Shanoo Sharma was also called in for questioning previously.

Apart from Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shanoo Sharma, around 28 people were interrogated by the Mumbai Police. One of them also happened to be Sushant's 'Dil Bechara' co-star Sanjana Sanghi. Her statement was recorded last week, and she was spotted leaving the police station after seven hours of interrogation.

Sushant, aged 34, was found hanging in his Bandra apartment. Any foul play has been ruled out in the case, and Sushant is reported to have committed suicide. While no suicide note was recovered from the actor, it was confirmed that the actor was depressed since six months.
