Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Kangana Ranaut has been vocal about wanting to give a statement to the Mumbai Police to help with the investigations in the case. Now, we have learned that Kangana and Mumbai Police are witnessing a strange tension in Sushant's case where both parties are accusing each other of not cooperating.

On Wednesday, Kangana's team tweeted screenshots and said that the actress has not received any summons from Mumbai Police, however, for the past 2 weeks her sister Rangoli Chandel sure has received "casual calls" from the cops.

According to our sources, Kangana is sure that she wants to get her statement recorded but she is not getting support from the Mumbai Police. And on the other hand, the Mumbai police is also blaming Kangana. According to police sources, on July 3, they had sent summons to Kangana's flat and on July 4, Kangana was called to the Bandra police station to record her statement, however, Kangana's manager Amrita Dutt refused to accept the summons.

Sources further stated that when the police personnel asked for Kangana's number to talk her, the manager gave her number to the police. Now the police have contacted Kangana's sister Rangoli and she has said that the police should write their questions to Kangana and she would then email her answers to the Mumbai Police.

The question that begs the answer, in the middle of this is why both the parties are unable to establish a consensus to record a statement so that the "truth" can see light of day.
