Sunny Leone had a narrow escape yesterday, when a seven-seater aircraft she was flying in was buffeted by strong winds over Latur. She was flying to city to inaugurate a gymnasium along with her husband Daniel Weber and three friends. They had boarded the flight at around 3:45 pm.
In a video posted on Twitter, Leone said, "We are alive and going home."
Thank the lord we are all alive! Our private plane almost crashed through bad weather. Counting our stars and driving home! Thank you God! pic.twitter.com/9jhTQ1arHX

Sunny and her friends drove back to the city after the aircraft made an emergency landing in Aurangabad. The aircraft lost altitude several times due to bad weather as it flew back to Mumbai, said Sunny Rajani, who flew along with Leone to Latur, adding that "It came close to crashing several times, but the pilots were experienced and skillful and averted a disaster."
In series of tweets, Sunny said, "Have to thank the pilots 4 doing such an amazing job getting us through alive. But you know it's bad when the pilot starts praying mid-air."

Smaller aircraft are more susceptible to being impacted by turbulence, and that is the main reason why the pilots made an emergency landing in Aurangabad, said Rajnani.
