'Stree' Box Office Collection Day 13: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film inches closer to Rs 100 Crore

One of the most liked films this year, so far is Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror-comedy film Stree

The film has not only been appreciated by the audience, but also critics, and is inches away from touching the Rs. 100 crore mark. 

According to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film is "inches closer to Rs. 100 crore club".

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree is all set to complete two successful weeks on the coming Friday, that is September 14, and has earned Rs. 91.77 crore so far. 

Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Stree inches closer to Rs. 100 crore club. (Week 2) Friday Rs. 4.39 crore, Saturday Rs. 7.63 crore, Sunday Rs. 9.88 crore, Monday Rs. 3.31 crore, Tuesday Rs. 3.22 crore, Wednesday Rs. 2.95 crore. Total: Rs. 91.77 crore (India business)."

Stree opened to positive response at the box office and continues to maintain its momentum. 

Within the first three days, the film managed to collect Rs. 31.26 crore, and recorded a box office collection of Rs. 60 crore within the first week.

In her review for DNA, film critic Meena Iyer gave Stree 3.5 stars. 

"The horror-comedy genre is fairly new to Indian cinema. Still, director Amar Kaushik does a commendable job of providing thrills and laughs in equal measure with his spooky Stree," Meena wrote.
