'Story of hero like no other': Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan praise Janhvi Kapoor's 'Gunjan Saxena' trailer

As soon as the trailer for Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, social media pages are filled with comments from people around the world. Going by the current situation, the film has received mixed reactions from the people. Now, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan took to their Twitter pages and promoted the Janhvi Kapoor starrer and praised Gunjan Saxena for being an inspirational figure to everyone.

Akshay tweeted, "Harr sapne ki udaan aise hi ho! Make way for the truly inspiring story of #GunjanSaxena - The Kargil Girl and all my best wishes to the team. To the real hero, Gunjan Saxena - thank you for inspiring many to chase their dreams with the same courage and soar higher!"

While Shah Rukh wrote, "A story of a hero like no other - Gunjan Saxena - India’s first woman Air Force Officer to go to war. Wishing love and luck to the team for this inspiring film. #GunjanSaxena".

Along with Janhvi, Gunjan Saxena also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Manav Vij, Vineet Kumar Singh and Angad Bedi in supporting roles. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film is produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. 

Earlier Gunjan had penned a note about her biopic ahead of trailer release, she stated, "Very rarely have old memories flashed in front of me in such a sweet manner as was experienced after watching my montage with voice over of Janhvi Kapoor. I guess it is the time for the culmination of an enriching journey which started with Sharan Sharma three years back. And what a journey it has been with Sharan."
