'Stop taking my name': What Chunky Panday wants to tell Ananya Panday after her 'Koffee With Karan' statement

The year started with people trolling Ananya Panday over her statement on nepotism during a roundtable interview for newcomers by Rajeev Masand. The actor had said, "I always wanted to be an actor and this has been my dream as well. Just because my dad's an actor I am not going to say no to an opportunity to act. My dad has never been in a Dharma film, he never went on Koffee With Karan."

It so happened that, after stating this, Siddhant Chaturvedi, who was a part of the interview said, "The difference is ‘jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai." People trolled and teased Ananya Panday, while applauded Siddhant for his 'savage' reply.

During a recent interaction with Mumbai Mirror, when Ananya's dad and actor Chunky Panday was asked about it, he said, "The two times she really got trolled was when she called me Tony Stark and the second was this episode. I want to tell her to stop taking my name."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddhant and Ananya are all set to share the screen space in Shakun Batra's upcoming directorial. The film also stars Deepika Padukone as the leading lady.

Moreover, Siddhant is also a part of Bunty Aur Babli 2 in which he is paired opposite debutante Sharvari. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles.

Talking about Ananya, she is currently filming for Khaali Peeli in which she will be seen alongside Ishaan Khatter.
