The picture of her mortal remains being taken to the cremation ground or her body decked up in her favourite kaanjivaram saree is going to stay in our memories. The entire Kapoor family stood by each other in the tough times, ANI posted a picture of everyone from the Kapoor family including Boney Kapoor, his daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor and his son Arjun Kapoor from his previous marriage as they all stood by Sridevi's mortal remains wrapped in the tricolour.
Sushmita Sen who was also spotted at the prayer meet on Wednesday morning, once again saluted the remarkable actress and loving mother that she was. She took to Instagram to praise Sridevi and the way she has raisedup her two lovely daughters. In an emotional tribute to the family, Sushmita wrote, " Paid my respects & said my goodbyes to a lady who inspired in the 14yr old me...the love of #cinema #music #dance & the colour #white #Chandni My friend #Ruchi is right, I always idolised her onscreen persona...but today at the prayer meet, I witnessed the #strength of Ma’am #Sridevi in the way she’s raised both her daughters, they showed immense courage, way beyond their years, as they silently & gracefully acknowledged everyone despite their own unimaginable grief. Sridevi's elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut in 'Dhadak' in July this year. Unfortunately, the actress will not be around to witness that but reports suggest Janhvi's debut film will have a special mention for her mother. It is also being said, that Sridevi will also be given special thanks in the credits of the film.
