Sonu Sood has THIS one condition if a biopic is made on him

Sonu Sood said he would prefer making a difference by helping as many people as he can, instead of "gloat(ing) over (his) achievements".

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood will forever be etched in audiences' minds especially after his humanitarian efforts during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. 

Sood who has been hailed as a real-life hero for his relief efforts during the coronavirus pandemic feels that he still has a long way to go before he is the subject of a biopic.

In an interview with SpotboyE, the actor said that he would want to play himself in his biopic as he has "earned the right to be in it". 

Sood also clarified that right now it is "too early" to make a film on his life.

Sood said, "I think it’s too early to do a film on me. I’ve so many more appointments to keep. So many goals to achieve. But there are producers out there who insist there is not just one, but many movies in the past few months of my life. But I don’t know if I am ready to have my life out on screen."

Speaking further about his biopic, Sood said, "I will play myself, of course. When my biopic happens, I think I've earned the right to be in it. So that would be my only pre-condition for a biopic."

Last week, Sood also launched a program inspired by his late mother, Prof. Saroj Sood, who used to teach students on a non-commercial basis, and on his mother’s 13th death anniversary, Sood carried her legacy forward. 

Sonu Sood launched a scholarship program called Prof. Saroj Sood scholarships to support IAS aspirants to fulfill their dreams and reach their goals. Under the program, scholarships will be available to students for online and on-campus courses. To take this scheme forward, the actor cum philanthropist collaborated with Scholify Me.
