Sonam Kapoor on wedding rumours: 'Why isn't everyone asking Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor about marriage?'

After Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma wedding ended 2017 with a bang, rumour mills have been abuzz about Sonam Kapoor's plans to get hitched to Anand Ahuja this year.

The two have never confessed feelings for each other in public but then their love-struck pictures on social media also speak volumes about their relationship status. So, no wonder rumours mills are working over time about the couple who spent New Year together in Paris, now will tie the knot in Jodhpur this April. Mumbai daily also reported it will be a small gathering of some 300-odd people and the couple will soon begin preparations for the wedding. And then there were also reports of Sonam and Anand's mom being spotted in Kolkata, while doing some jewellery shopping together. 

Sonam Kapoor has never spoken about her personal life till now and won't do it in midst of PadMan promotions as well. In an interview to Mid-Day, the actress said, "Why are actresses asked more about their personal lives? Is anyone asking Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh when they are getting married?"

While she is more than happy to talk about her upcoming release, PadMan, but Sonam is clear about keeping 'sanctity to some part of her life'. Miss Kapoor told Mumbai daily,  "Nobody has the right to access my personal life. This one part has to be in my control. I am ready to talk about me, but there is another person involved here and I need to respect him."

On work front, Sonam Kapoor has PadMan with Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte up for release on January 25th and Veere Di Wedding will hit theatres on June 1st 2018.
