The wedding season is on in full swing. After Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar's intimate wedding in Alibaug, get set for Bollywood's big fat wedding. Sonam Kapoor and beau Anand Ahuja are all set to walk down the aisle in the first week of May and it's preparations have surely got us excited about it.
According to Mumbai Mirror, 'Neerja' actress will have a two-day wedding ceremony on May 7th and 8th in Mumbai itself. The wedding celebrations will kick-start with sangeet and mehendi night to be hosted at luxurious hall inside a BKC building. Farah Khan Kunder is overseeing the dance performances and apart from the immediate family, Karan Johar is also expected to be the star performer of the night. The groom's side of the family is flying down to Mumbai from the US, London and Delhi for the wedding functions.
Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja will get married as per Hindu wedding traditions on 8th May. The Kapoor family has zeroed in Sunita Kapoor's sister Kavita Singh's heritage bungalow in Bandstand as the venue of the wedding. Mumbai daily reported, the bungalow is located next to Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat and since she is an art-collector her bungalow is decorated with exquisite art pieces are from around the world including grand chandeliers, Buddha and Ganesha statue. On the same evening, the newlyweds will throw a big bash for their friends in the film industry. Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor are expected to host reception for over 300 people at a suburban hotel in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor is also gearing up for 'Veere Di Wedding', her much-awaited June release which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in the lead. The trailer of the film is expected to come out on April 25th.
