Sohum Shah's performance in Tumbad impresses Sanju helmer Rajkumar Hirani

Rajkumar Hirani recently saw Sohum Shah’s (Ship Of Theseus fame) new film, Tumbad, at a special screening held for him and came out impressed. The 3 Idiots and PK director, who is currently in the midst of post-production of Sanju, his biopic on Sanjay Dutt, took time out to view the fantasy thriller set in colonial India. No wonder then, Sohum, who is also producing the movie, was glad the blockbuster filmmaker made it for the preview. 

At the end of the screening, for nearly an hour, Hirani was seen speaking to Sohum and the team with a lot of love and encouragement. Moreover, the creator of the Munna Bhai franchise, who rarely praises a movie on social media, was so moved by the Rahi Anil Barve directorial that he took to Twitter to praise it. 

This means a lot to Sohum who has spent six years to make this film a reality. He got emotional and even more motivated to hear such encouraging feedback from Hirani.
