Delhi NCR witnessed a smoggy morning on Wednesday with the city being termed as a ‘gas chamber’. Apart from the residents, Bollywood celebrities have also fallen victim to it as they suffer from breathing the highly polluted air. From Varun Dhawan to Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, the celebs are appalled to see the condition of the country’s capital.

While Parineeti and Arjun, who are in the city to shoot for Sandeep and Pinky Faraar, asked everyone to control the situation, Varun Dhawan urged everyone to go green.

Varun, who is in New Delhi for Shoojit Sircar’s October,  shared a photo during the day where he is seen wearing a green mask. He wrote, “I have clicked this selfie to show you guys what actual smog looks like. I don’t want to preach I am equally to blame for this mess as most of the citizens of our great country, but now instead of blaming each other and the government let’s change. It’s time we go green. #delhichokes”

Now as he witnessed the situation not being curbed, he shared another video on Twitter regarding how burning waste material is a key point that leads to air pollution and thus, urges everyone to recycle waste. Check out the video here:

Looks like Varun, who's in Delhi is facing a lot of trouble, especially at the time when smog has been at its worse. With Varun’s strong message, we hope everyone tries to curb the aftermath of rising pollution in the country.
