Vicky Kaushal starrer URI which is creating immense buzz, has captured the fancy of none other than Ranveer Singh who's currently riding high on the success of his last release Simmba. During the trailer launch of the actor's upcoming film Gully Boy, Ranveer gave a shout out to Vicky Kaushal starrer URI in a unique way saying, "Aye Vicky ki aarahi hai URI, dekhna hai zaruri" making the fans all the more excited for URI. 

The film is based on the 2016 surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army in retaliation to an alleged terror attack in the Kashmir region of Uri. The makers of the movie URI have been treating the sudience with videos from the film, sharing glimpses of the surgical strike which have gone ahead creating rage amongst rage audience.

A few days ago, the makers had released the first song from the movie titled 'Challa' which aims to pump in energy and awaken the patriot in you, showcasing the hardships and the training the Indian soldiers go through as they guard our nation.

Just like the trailer, even the song manifests Vicky Kaushal's journey of creating a whole team to conduct the surgical attack. The visuals of the song display an army officer (Vicky Ksuahal) leading a team to avenge the killings of his fellow comrades. We can also see Mohit Raina, Yami Gautam and Kirti Kulhari in few scenes. 

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. URI is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it is the first film of to release this year on January 11, 2019.
