Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra's 'Jabariya Jodi' gets dialogue promo, watch

DNA AfterHrs was the first to report that Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra's Shotgun Shaadi is now called Jabariya Jodi and to confirm the report, Ekta Kapoor released the first dialogue promo of the movie on Saturday.

Taking a cue from the Bhojpuri language, in which jabariya means zabardasti, the new movie title fits aptly for the theme of pakadwa vivaah. A kind of forceful marriage, the union is doesn't care for the approval from bride or groom.

The 13-seconds-long video goes something like this:

A commotion people asking the same question about the meaning of the word Jabariya gives way to a pink invitation card that doubles as a credits board for the cast and crew of the movie. Then we here Sidharth Malhotra utter, "Surprise party sune ho?" 

"Eeh surprise saadi hai," Parineeti Chopra's voiceover answers the question.

Balaji Films are producing the movie, naturally, Ekta Kapoor shared the first video.

The producer/media mogul also shared the picture of clapperboard announcing the start of shooting schedule on Friday.

Since Hasee Toh Phasee of 2014, this is the reunion movie for Parineeti and Sidharth. 

"It's an exciting film for both of us to come back together as a couple on screen. This movie has a mix of humour and good content," said Sidharth when asked about working with Parineeti once again.
