Shweta Bachchan Nanda to soon have a clothing line of her own

In a span of few years, the dynamic Shweta Bachchan Nanda has turned a corner when it comes to proving her literary prowess thanks to her funny, insightful columns. And now, Amitabh Bachchan’s beti is embarking on a clothing venture. But who’s surprised? Over the years, Shweta has emerged to be a refreshing and eclectic dresser — and also appeared on every major style list. Style is something which comes to her naturally. 

From sporting military-inspired pieces at the airport to pairing her Abu Sandeep separates with a pair of holographic Isabel Marant pants, there’s an insouciance about the way she puts together her looks. In her sartorial voyage, she has also flirted with labels like Chinti and Parker, Malene Birger, Self Portrait and Tibi.

The grapevine has it that Shweta is in talks with a top Indian designer and will reportedly begin work on her own line, which will then be a part of the designer’s label. The overall vibe of the collection will be a cool mash-up of old-world charm with modernity. We can’t wait to see the creations!
