Shruti Haasan to perform in the UK today

Along with acting in Bollywood and South industries, Shruti Haasan also has a flourishing career in music. Of late, she’s back to focussing on the latter. Shruti is all set to release her debut record end of this year. Earlier in 2019, she had a series of gigs at London’s iconic venues The Ned and Islington, apart from a show for the fashion brand, Fiorucci. Now, the success of her series of shows in the UK has made the organisers approach her for another gig at the Islington, today. 

A source says, “Shruti has been working tirelessly on her music other than acting commitments. She has been meeting some of the most established producers and musicians in the UK, and is leaving no stone unturned to make her debut album a success.”

Shruti, who has just wrapped up her first international series — Treadstone — in Budapest, Hungary, is heading straight for the shows. She’ll be in India for the filming of her Tamil outing Laabam. She said, “I’m happy to be living my best life! 

To return to music and begin internationally on both music and film has been amazing. I also love he fact that I get to travel between countries.”
