Shruti Haasan on relationship with Michael Corsale: Everyone knows about him

Kamal Haasan‘s daughter Shruti Haasan celebrated her 32nd birthday on January 28 in Los Angeles and her social media account has been flooded with photos of friends and her rumoured boyfriend Michael Corsale. 

While the actress was last seen in Behen Hogi Teri, she has been hogging limelight much more for her alleged relationship with Michael. But it seems the actress is in no hurry to tie the knot and wants to "take a step back" and focus more on pursuing a career in music. "Music is my focus right now," she revealed to Mid-Day, emphasising that it has a calming effect on her. "As an artiste, I can't be constricted. It is essential that I constantly keep reinventing myself. This year will see me come up with my own singles."

When quizzed about her relationship status, Shruti rubbished marriage rumours and said,  “I’m tired of the marriage rumours. Everyone knows about him, but I don’t see why I should speak about him.” She also added that her parents’ marriage has not made her cynical and said, “That was their life, this is mine. I know how to hold on to my relationships.”

Meanwhile, Shruti added that she would like to explore her creative streak beyond acting and said, "Three industries and multiple films simultaneously were leaving little time for me to find myself. People were forming opinions about me, almost to the point of pigeonholing and that's the last thing I want."
