Shreyas Talpade who is known for his humour filled roles welcomed baby girl ‘Aadya’ through surrogacy in 2018 after 14 years of marriage. The couple reportedly were having problems while conceiving which made them chose surrogacy to become parents.
In an interview with ETimes, Shreyas said he is thankful to God for bringing Aadya into their lives. He said, "Fatherhood has made me a lot more patient than I was earlier. It has also made me responsible and helped me change my attitude and perspective towards a lot of things".
He added "My daughter is three now and this is the time they keep asking a lot of questions every day. While you know the answers to most of them, certain questions will really surprise and stump you. These small moments make your life worth living and you cherish it for a lifetime”.
In an old interview with IANS, the actor said ''Fatherhood is a huge responsibility. It has changed me as a person a lot. Now, every day comes with a new challenge. My perspective towards the things has also started changing,''
For the unversed, Shreyas Talpade tied the knot on December 31, 2004. He had met his wife at a college event. He visited the college as a celebrity guest and Deepti was a student there.
In 2018, Shreyas told a leading daily that they had planned a vacation to Hong Kong, and while on their way to the city, they learnt about the surrogate mother going into labour and delivering the baby prematurely. The couple immediately changed their plans and headed back to India to welcome their bundle of joy.
