Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao zoom off to Chanderi for 'Stree'

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are teaming up for the first time, in Amar Kaushik’s next, titled Stree. A horror-comedy based on an urban Indian legend, the film will be produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.

Says a source, “Stree is based on a ridiculously true phenomenon and will see Shraddha and Raj playing characters, unlike the ones they have done before. The makers wanted to keep the surprise element intact.” They are about to start filming.

“The team is off to Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, where they will shoot the whole movie. This is also the first time a Bollywood film is being shot in the fort town,” the source adds.
