A fire broke out on the sets of 'Zero' at 4:30 pm in Film City, Mumbai on Thursday evening, reported news agency Press Trust of India. Around four fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot to put out the fire. 

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who plays the lead Bauaa Singh, in the film was on the set when the incident took place, the report said. But fortunately the actor escaped unhurt, the police confirmed. 

According to a report in Spotboye.com, a song was to be shot Film City, today. Shah Rukh was reportedly in his vanity van when the fire broke. Alia Bhatt, too, was around the sets of 'Zero', the report further stated. 

The fire was confined to electric wiring, electric installation, lights, shooting materials, ropes and curtains, Vinay Rathod, Deputy Commissioner of Police told the news agency. No other casualities have been reported, yet. 

The smoke was seen rising out of Film City in Goregaon. No one was hurt in the fire. The cause of the fire is yet not clear, he added.

Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. 'Zero' is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
