You can trust Twitterati to bring out skeletons from people's closet, anytime and anywhere. In a recent interaction with media, when Shakti Kapoor was asked to comment on Tanushree Dutta's sexual harassment allegations against Nana Patekar, the actor chose to laugh the matter off, stating that the incident took place 10 years ago and that he was a kid back then. “I don’t know anything about this case. This was 10 years back, I was a kid back then," the 66-year-old said.

Moments after the video got released on the web, people flocked to Twitter to remind Shakti of his 2005 sex-scandal. A few even asked if he would have had the same stance if it would have been his daughter Shraddha Kapoor, in Tanushree's place.

For the uninitiated, India TV had done an explosive sting operation in 2005 where a female journalist posed as an upcoming Bollywood starlet and exposed Shakti. The tape saw him prepositioning the correspondent and asking her for sexual favours. While debates around violating someone's privacy were doing the rounds, Shakti Kapoor in the end found no escaping as he got banned from the industry for quite a while.

Post the sting operation several actors and directors, including Preity Zinta, Subhash Ghai, openly spoke against Shakti and his 'indecent behaviour'. "I am happy to be part of the industry but feel that one dirty fish spoils the whole pond. He is truly a real life villain and deserves to be banned from our film industry as there is no place for him here," Pretty had said.

Earlier in 2004, Shakti was made the judge of an 'Item Bomb' hunt, where he had to look for a woman who would shake her booty with Sanjay Dutt in an item number for Sanjay Gupta's film 'Musafir'.

"The industry knows me as someone who always has a pretty woman in his life. My image is widely known... there isn't a better person to judge whether a woman is a bomb or not," Shakti had then said in a statement, as per a report in The Hindu.

When asked what was the quality he was actually looking for, Shakti had said, "A bomb must ooze sex. I'm looking for t*** and a**."
