Shahid Kapoor shares an awesome silhouette poster of 'Kabir Singh'; teaser to be out on THIS date

Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film is Kabir Singh and people can't wait to see him in this avatar soon. The film is the official Hindi remake of Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda in the titular role. Kabir Singh is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who had directed the original flick. Shahid's Kabir Singh stars Kiara Advani as the female lead and the duo shot for the film extensively in Mumbai and Delhi.

Today, Shahid took to his Instagram page and shared the latest poster of Kabir Singh. In the poster, the actor's handsome silhouette can be seen and he is smoking two cigarettes in it. Earlier talking about Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy, Shahid had said to PTI, "The original was very raw, very honest. I don't think there was anything in the film that was for effect. I just felt it said things as it is and was a brazen journey of a character who goes through an emotional arc which is extreme."

He added, "The honesty of the film connected with the audience. Otherwise, for a film like that, there would be a limited audience. But it was loved across the board. The idea is to do it all over again."

Kabir Singh is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde. The film is slated to release on June 21, 2019.
