Shah Rukh Khan has just completed 26 years in Bollywood and as the superstar maintained his position as the King of Romance, he even gave us few hatke memorable films as well. Filmmaker Shimit Amin's 2007 hit 'Chak De India' remains one of them, wherein SRK impressed his fans in the role of a coach of women's hockey team.

Interestingly, the super hit team of Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Shimit Amin plan to reunite once again. As per Mid-Day report, Shimit is planning a two-hero film which seems to have caught SRK's attention. Last year, when 'Chak De India' completed 10 years, SRK reconnect with Shimit, who gave out a concept he had in mind for King Khan. SRK liked it and asked him to work on it. Now, after a year has passed away, Shimit got in touch with Shah Rukh Khan again to discuss the script he has been working on.

SRK who has only Aanand L Rai's 'Zero' lined up for release in 2018, is interested in acting and producing Amin's film. Reports also suggest their reunion film could be a period drama and a two-hero film featuring a younger actor as the parallel lead. Ayushmann Khuranna name has been doing the rounds but the cast will only be finalised after Shah Rukh Khan signs the film.

As SRK is busy wrapping up work on 'Zero', he is in talks with Rakesh Sharma biopic 'Salute' and Karan Johar's next as well but is yet to sign a film.

After the debacle of Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab Harry Met Sejal', Shah Rukh Khan is looking forward to breaking his romantic hero image. Director Shimit Amin has done it successfully in the past with 'Chak De India' and we are sure the awesome twosome can do it once again.
