One the ocassion of his father's death anniversary, SRK tweets about his kids and his only duty towards them
Dharamendra launched Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Rakesh Roshan introduced his good looking son Hrithik Roshan in movies and now everyone expects that Shah Rukh Khan will be launching his children Suhana and Aryan on a grand scale. But that's not on top of SRK's mind. He wants to retain their childhood as long as possible.
On the occasion of his father's death anniversary on Tuesday, an emotional SRK took to twitter to share his idea of raising children which he learnt from his father. He wrote, “19Sept. Like my dad(RIP),my only duty 2 my kids is 2 delay the onset of their adulthood as much as possible.Retain purity of their childhood.”
Shah Rukh Khan who was extremely close to his parents has always been emotional about the fact they were never alive to witness his superstardom. Now a doting father of three kids, Aryan, Suhana and Abram, the actor's life revolves around his children. His social media handles are flooded with candid pictures with his children and often speaks about them affectionately. Once the actor said, “The part of stardom we have all accepted, this is part of stardom. I think the kids started feeling awkward with all the paraphernalia. Every time I go out in a public place, I don’t take them with me. My wife doesn’t come, my children don’t come. I go to functions alone or post they have gone.”
Now he is looking forward to Suhana's debut in Bollywood. The actor said, “Suhana wants to be an actress. I see that zeal in her. She’s extremely good on stage, I’ve seen her performances. She’s admittedly a cinema fan and wants to be in the industry. But my point is simple — you need to complete your education before doing anything. That’s the only thing I have told my children.”
Suhana is grooming herself for the job she wants. The star daughter has been making appearances alongside her superstar dad at events. An insider revealed, “She was at Karan Johar’s office recently and there were professional hair stylists and a make-up person with her. She was styled by a top stylist and shot by an ace photographer.”
Now, we are not saying that Karan is going to launch her this year or next, but when the time is right, he will, and consider it an honour. The fact is, she is prepping for the part. Suhana was at the fashion week recently, without her parents. An eyewitness said, “She was confident in front of the cameras and behaved like a proper young lady, and not the gawky teenager that she was.”
