Say no to spoilers: Team 'Ittefaq'

It’s common knowledge that Ittefaq helmed by first-time director Abhay Chopra is a murder mystery and an adaptation of Yash Chopra’s 1969 hit film by the same name. There have been lot of speculations and curiosity about who the killer is at the end of the movie starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha, and Akshaye Khanna. The makers have gone to great lengths to keep the mystery around the 100-minute thriller.

In an effort to further maintain the mystery, the makers have launched a ‘Say No To Spoilers’ campaign. This is to encourage the audience to not give away the ending of the movie so that everyone can enjoy the suspense at the end. 

Says a source, “The campaign is designed to not be preachy and is light-hearted, with fun digital videos and images involving the starcast of the movie who convey the message.” Not just the cast, but the entire industry will be supporting this campaign. The source adds, “The ‘no spoilers’ initiative is supported by many in the industry via videos and messages on social media, these celebs have come forward to lend their voices to the same.” Some of those who will be urging the audience to keep the secret are Amitabh 

Bachchan, Kajol, Anushka Sharma, Aanand L Rai, Arjun Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Poonam Dhillon and many more along with the co-producers — Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and, of course, the cast — Sidharth, Sonakshi, and Akshaye. 

Ittefaq releases on November 3. It is co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, BR Studios, and Dharma Productions.
