After impressive Sanju trailer, Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt biopic has not disappointed cine-goers. Ranbir Kapoor's performance is being hailed as his career's best and has impressed critics and audience alike. But not just him, even Vicky Kaushal has made his presence felt in the film which belongs to Ranbir Kapoor.

Length of the character has never mattered for Vicky Kaushal, as the talented actor has caught everyone's attention right from his debut film 'Masaan' to his first ever 100 crore hit 'Raazi' recently. He plays the role of 'Sanju' best friend Kamlesh in the film and managed to strick the right chords with the audience once again. Even Bollywood biggies like Aamir Khan and Karan Johar who have praised Ranbir Kapoor's performance didn't miss out to say fabulous things for Vicky Kaushal as well.

Vicky's act in Sanju blew Aamir Khan's mind and made Karan Johar cry. In DNA After Hrs review for 'Sanju', Meena Iyer writes, " Vicky Kaushal as his friend, Kamlesh, should also pick up awards for his supporting act."

Ealier in an interview Vicky Kaushal said its courageous of Sanjay Dutt to allow director Rajkumar Hirani to make a movie on his life. "All of us keep thriving to have normalcy in life. This man (Dutt) has only lived only at the top or at the bottom. He has seen the best and worst in life. He has not seen normalcy. I think it is courageous and generous of him to allow a filmmaker to make a film on him with complete honesty, with no filters."

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal has 'Manmarziyaan' with Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan, 'Uri' with Paresh Rawal and Yami Gautam.
