Right ahead of the launch of 'Sanju' trailer, makers have unveiled the fresh poster of the film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor
After winning hearts with a fabulous Sanju teaser and series of posters revealing Ranbir Kapoor's stunning transformation as Sanjay Dutt in various stages of his life, makers have finally dropped the first look of another important character in the film - Sonam K Ahuja.
Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor debuted together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2007 film 'Saawariya'. More than a decade later, the two stars have reunited for Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju'. Sonam shared the poster on Twitter and wrote, "A page from Sanu's crazy romantic life."
The newest aspect of the film showcases a free-spirited Ranbir Kapoor playing Dutt along with Sonam Kapoor who will be seen as his love interest in the film. With Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani is all set to give the audience glimpses into the crazy, controversial love life of Sanjay Dutt in the 80s. The latest poster introduces Sonam Kapoor for the first time. While earlier posters and teaser revealed only Ranbir Kapoor's looks in the film, the latest poster gives us a glimpse of another character for the first time. The teaser showcased a young Sanju mention about 308 women being a part of his life, the poster further pumps up excitement levels, to know yet another aspect of one of Bollywood's most interesting actors.
While reports have been abuzz that she plays one of Sanju’s romantic interests, who was also an actress. That led to people assuming that Sonam was either playing Tina Munim or Madhuri Dixit, who the Saajan actor was reportedly seeing in the 80s and 90s respectively. However, Sonam dismissed the rumours and told DNA After Hrs earlier, “I have a small but important part in the movie. It’s not what everyone is thinking. I am not playing an actress. I am not allowed to say anything about it. But it has been wonderful working with Rajkumar Hirani. He is one of the biggest reasons why I said yes to this film.”
Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars an ensemble cast in addition to Ranbir Kapoor which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza amongst others.
