It's an important film for Ranbir Kapoor as well who hasn't tasted box office success in a while and now everyone is expecting that 'Sanju' will bring back the talented Kapoor lad back in the game.

'Sanju' is going to be Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani's biggest release so far as the film will open in 4000 theatres across the country. The advance booking for the film has been fabulous and trade analyst's box office predictions suggest that 'Sanju' will become the highest opener of 2018 so far. Trade expert Akshaye Rathi told Bollywood,  “The response in the advance is incredible as it’s a Rajkumar Hirani film. The film will open extremely well and will not only open well but it should sustain extremely well for weeks and weeks because that’s the power of a Rajkumar Hirani film. The opening day of the film should not be less than Rs 30 crore as the brand name of Hirani is associated to it.”

With Sanjay Dutt's intriguing life story combined with the talented star cast of 'Sanju' including Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarbh, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor, we are sure the film will create new box office records.
