Looks like partners Salman Khan and Govinda are all set to reunite for the sequel of 2007 hit Partner. The movie may reportedly be titled Carry On Partner.

If a MidDay report is to be believed, then preparations are going on in full swing for Partner 2 with Salman and Govinda in the leads. While Partner was directed by David Dhawan, the sequel will be helmed by Sohail Khan. An insider informed the tabloid that the makers thought about making a sequel to Partner before, but they had to drop it for lack of a good script.

Rumours of a fallout between Govinda and Salman were also doing the rounds. Rumour mills were busy churning that Govinda was hopeful that Salman would launch his daughter Tina Ahuja but that didn't happen. This apparently didn't go down well with Govinda and he often went on record saying that he shouldn't expect too much from Salman.

Well, looks like the partners have finally let the bygones be bygones. Grapevine has it that Govinda will be seen playing a supporting role in Partner 2. When the tabloid asked Govinda if he would work with Salman, the actor said, "Why will I not work with him? We don't have any issues with each other."

While it's not clear if Sohail will retain Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta as the leading ladies, buzz is that two more young actors will be cast in the sequel. Reportedly, Sohail is in no hurry to make the film as he's currently working on the script.
